After the notable success of the previous 7 editions Gallery Weekend México is pleased to announce the list of exhibitors taking part in the 2021 edition. A strong line-up of 56 leading galleries, artist-run spaces and design galleries will present the highest quality of works across all media, from historical to new works by today’s emerging artistic voices.

Standing out a new generation of galleries representing emerging artists with inclusive, committed and risky proposals.

The inclusion of design stands out as well; a discipline that joins the Gallery Weekend Program for the first time with a selection of galleries committed to collectible design.

The increase in the selection of artist-run spaces in this year’s edition responds to the relevance that these spaces have had historically in the local scene and confirms a global trend that is reconfiguring the art offer around the world.

Gallery Weekend México invites once again collectors, art professionals and art enthusiasts to discover art in the most relevant galleries in the city, to meet the artists and recover the city with art as a motive and the city as the stage.

Participating Galleries

As every year Gallery Weekend Mexico celebrates art galleries. They are a fundamental part of the art system, as they fulfill the mission of discovering new artists, investing in their careers, promoting them nationally and internationally and accompanying them throughout their careers.

Since its founding, Gallery Weekend Mexico has given visibility to the city’s solid network of galleries and their artists. GWM’s gallery circuit includes the Lomas de Chapultepec, Polanco and San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhoods in the west of the city; the Condesa, Roma, Juárez, San Rafael and Santa María la Ribera neighborhoods in the center; and the Coyoacán neighborhood in the south.
