This October, London will host a new art fair dedicated entirely to Latin American art. Paraíso will hold its first edition at Ambika P3 from October 15 to 18, 2026, bringing together galleries and independent projects from Latin America and London, along with a program of talks, performances, video, and publications.
The focus on Mexico introduces a historical dimension to the fair. Unseen works by Felipe Ehrenberg (1943–2017) will be presented, along with two video pieces by Pola Weiss (1947–1990), a pioneer of video art in Mexico. Additionally, curator Juan Canela has organized a program dedicated to contemporary video art from Central America, featuring galleries and projects from Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Costa Rica.
Publications will also have a space within the fair. Paraíso has collaborated with Calaca Press on a selection of independent Latin American publishers, including Ají Press from the United Kingdom, Felina Press from Colombia, diSONARE from Mexico, and Não Desanime! from Chile.
With its first edition, Paraíso brings together different parts of the Latin American art scene in London. Its approach goes beyond the conventional art fair format, creating a space for historical works and artistic practices that do not always coexist within the same context.
