Galeria Reus presents new exhibitions by Callum Green and Alejandro Javaloyas

Galeria Reus presents two solo exhibitions across its two gallery floors: Un cuchillo que no corta by Alejandro Javaloyas and Pleasure Loops by Callum Green.
On Floor 0, Alejandro Javaloyas brings together a series of small-format works rooted in dreams and nightmares recorded by the artist over the years. Through a process that combines writing, artificial intelligence, digital editing, and drawing, he creates ambiguous and evocative images that explore themes such as memory, the passage of time, spirituality, and symbolism.
On Floor -1, Callum Green presents a new selection of abstract paintings in which gesture, colour, and surface become tools for exploring the movement and uncertainty inherent to the painterly process. His works unfold through layers, interruptions, and successive decisions, inviting viewers to experience painting as an open-ended journey.
Although they work through very different visual languages, both artists share an interest in process and in the capacity of images to suggest what cannot be fully explained. Together, the exhibitions establish a dialogue between two contemporary approaches to image-making: one connected to memory and the oneiric, the other centred on painting as a space for exploration and transformation.
