The walls of a studio or a house, whether unfinished, painted, covered with wallpaper or some other material, resonate as if they had their own voice. They are witnesses to our daily experiences, frustrations, disappointments, memories and dreams. If walls could speak, they would tell us how in the times of confinement, one can enjoy solitude. If walls spoke, they could tell us what we keep silent.
DiabloRosso is pleased to present Si las paredes hablaran, a solo show by Ana Elena Garuz (Panama, 1971). This is the first exhibition in a cycle of shows on contemporary painting to be presented during the next semester.
