TRIP FOR ALLIES AND PATRONS

VISIT TO EL PINACATE AND GRAN DESIERTO DE ALTAR BIOSPHERE AND ARQUEOASTRONOMY NIGHT

Get to know the Pinacate Biosphere and Gran Desierto de Altar and live a unique experience with the artists of Interplanetary Simulations, the first volume of the residency program Travesías Terremoto.

Join us in this unforgettable experience!

Terremoto invites our allies, club members and friends to be part of the Interplanetary Simulations for a weekend. From March 15 to 17, we will visit the incredible desert of the Pinacate Biosphere and camp alongside the artists, scientists and curators who will be creating the first volume of the new Travesías Terremoto residency program. The trip has only 15 places available to guarantee the comfort and quality of this experience.

During the camp in the desert we will have a night of star viewing with the help of archaeoastronomer Arturo Montero García who will guide us through the celestial vault and the different civilizations that have generated knowledge about the sky. For this night of stars, we will use telescopes and lasers that will bring us closer to the stars.

Archeoastornomy is the combination of two sciences, astronomy and archeology, and is dedicated to the study of how past populations understood celestial phenomena, how they used these phenomena, and what the role of the sky was in their cultures.
