URRA launches two open calls to choose two Argentine artists that will participate in a three months fully-funded art residency in 1) Gasworks, London, and 2) Atelier Mondial, Basel.
Both residencies provide an art studio, accommodation, basic living expenses, an Open Studio or similar public presentation, a return flight and curatorial support.
(1) Three months art residency in Gasworks, London, UK
Application deadline: May 28, 2019
Open call for applications for argentine artists, under the age of 40, based in Argentina, for a fully-funded residency at Gasworks from January 6 to March 23, 2020. Applications should be completed and sent through Gasworks’ website where you will find further details and information about the residency and how to apply.
This residency is part of an exchange programme developed in partnership with URRA, who will host in Buenos Aires a UK-based artist for three months. Both opportunities are supported by Erica Roberts and organized in partnership with arteBA Fundación, Argentina.
The artists who have participated in previous editions of this programme are: Nicolás Gullotta and Christian Newby (2015/2016), Ad Minoliti and Laura Eldret (2016/2017), Osías Yanov and Marianna Simnett (2017/2018) Pablo Accinelli and Adriana Arroyo (2018/2019).
(2) Three months art residency in Atelier Mondial, Basel
Application deadline: May 31,2019
Open call for applications for Argentine visual artists and foreign visual artists with more than five years of residence in Argentina (no age limit), for a fully funded residency at Atelier Mondial in Basel from October 1 to December 31, 2019.

This residency is part of an exchange programme developed in partnership with Atelier Mondial and URRA, who will host in Buenos Aires an artist from the triple border area of Switzerland-France-Germany. This programme is done thanks to the support of ARTedu Stiftung.
The artists who have participated in the previous editions of this programme are: Mónica Giron and María Magdalena Z´Graggen (2013), Ana Montecucco and Mandla Reuter (2014), San Poggio and Monika Dillier (2015), Marisa Rubio and Fantine Andres (2016), Emilia Álvarez and Andrea Saemann (2018), in Atelier Mondial and URRA respectively.
