We are looking for artists and researchers of excellence who want to develop innovative projects, which contribute to the field of arts and culture from the diverse Latin American territory.

We invite you to apply until October 14th to study in the Postgraduate Program in Arts, of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, first in Latin America according to the QS World University Rankings and number 51 in Arts and Humanities worldwide.

These are the Doctorate and Master’s programs, open to be studied by Chileans and people from other nationalities working in the artistic field. Both programs are accredited by the National Accreditation Council and allow the development of advanced projects in Music, Theater and Visual Arts, which can be carried out from artistic practice or from strictly theoretical research.

With innovative perspectives, and an academic board of recognized trajectory, our Postgraduate programs invite you to rethink the place of the arts in the contemporary world, with a multidisciplinary, collaborative and excellence outlook.

Why study this program in Chile and at UC?

Scholarships: All PhD students currently have a scholarship to attend the program. In the case of the Master’s program, students from Chile and other countries are encouraged to apply for scholarships such as ANID, FONDART, FONMUS or others. In addition, UC offers the Master of Arts Scholarship, which is annual and covers up to a maximum of 90% of the tuition fee of a student in need of financial support.

University Excellence: Multidisciplinary vision, experience that crosses practice and research in ideal conditions. Agreements and links with other institutions in Latin America and the world. Excellent network of libraries, resources from all UC campuses, and the university network to develop your projects and live in Chile (Graduate School, support to settle in the country).

Review the work of our teachers (PhD and Master) and the projects that have been carried out in the programs. If your interests dialogue, expand or cross these fields, we invite you to send your resume to be part of our community of Graduate Arts UC. If you have any questions, please write to doctoradoartes@uc.cl or magisterartes@uc.cl
