CIERRE with Onda MX: See you in Guadalajara on December 1st, 2nd and 3rd!
CIERRE is an initiative for exploring the contemporary art circuit in Guadalajara. In this third
edition, Onda MX – a platform for the dissemination of art, as well as a digital magazine –
joins forces to organize a weekend of events in collaboration with 5 independent spaces, 7
galleries, 2 studios, and 3 museums.
Throughout the first weekend of December, we invite you to explore the exhibitions where
artists and curators will offer guided tours, along with other activities designed especially for
the occasion. It´s a great opportunity to end the year discovering and celebrating the
richness of the Mexican art scene.

The independent art spaces will open simultaneously on Friday, December 1st from 4 to
9pm. The galleries and artist studios will welcome visitors on Saturday, December 2nd
from 11am to 8pm. Finally, on Sunday, December 3rd, there will be guided tours of the
museums at specific times.
The activities, with the exception of access to museums, are completely free of charge. They
are intended for art enthusiasts and collectors as well as the general public.
This collaborative initiative stems from a common interest in promoting the national art scene
and linking it to a wide audience.
Finally, in order to facilitate access to the wide range of artistic offerings and bring the public
closer to the different exhibition spaces, Onda MX presents the new version of its app this
November. The app now allows users to save exhibitions or favorite spaces with the
possibility of creating personalized routes to explore the art scene in Guadalajara, as well as
in Mexico City and Monterrey.
