Salón ACME invites the artistic community to participate in the Open Call before October 5.
Salón ACME, the art platform that over ten editions has focused on providing visibility, support, and promotion to a wide range of artistic and curatorial proposals, announces its 11th edition to be held from 8-11 February, 2024 at Proyecto Público Prim in Mexico City.
For this future edition, Salón ACME invites the artistic community from August 21 to October 5 to participate in the Open Call. Artists of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds can apply for free. All media, themes and formats are welcome. The selected works will be featured in the main exhibition of Salón ACME and will be chosen through the Curatorial Board of this edition comprised of Benedicta Badia (collector, Argentina), Darío Escobar (artist, Guatemala), Pati Hertling (Director of Performance Space New York, Germany), Anaïs Lepage (curator and writer, France), Alex Romero (cultural manager, Mexico) and Santiago Villanueva (artist and curator, Argentina).
HANGAR, Centro de Investigação Artística will grant for the second year in a row the Salon Prize, which consists of an individual artistic residency in Lisbon, Portugal, for an artist selected through the Open Call.
