The artists work at the intersection of border ontologies reconnaissance and the end of the epoch of brutal violence in Latin America. The artists have centered their study and production on the northern Mexican region, disrupting images that reflect upon surveillance and historical material. Their research results in a series of installations and objects that speak of the ruptures still present in such territories, as well as the oppressive dynamics that have emerged among mineral, animal, human/nonhuman and plant life forms into submission, in the desert and elsewhere, investigating memories of the future and the radical conditions of the present.
