Monserrat Rojas Corradi

Born in Hannover Germany. She studied Visual Arts at the University of Chile where she also obtained a master’s degree in Latin American Studies. She also has a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Communication and Photojournalism in Germany. She has served as a photography curator at the Estación Mapocho Cultural Center and currently fulfills the same function in the Photography Room of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago. Among her publications can be counted Visible-invisible, tres fotógrafas durante la dictadura, and texts in countless magazines and catalogs on topics related to documentary photography, journalism, gender, dictatorship and memory.
