Mateus Nunes (Belém, 1997) is a Brazilian writer and curator based in São Paulo. He holds a PhD in Art History from University of Lisbon, with a thesis on cultural hybridisms of Baroque architecture on the Amazon and their connections with contemporary image theory. He is a professor at Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) and regularly writes about Brazilian contemporary and colonial art for various publications.
