Is a writer and the founding editor of the Miami Rail, a quarterly publication devoted to contemporary art and culture. During a hiatus from school, he began writing for National Geographic’s travel books department. He then moved to Shanghai, where he freelanced for numerous publications, including Asian Art News, The Wall Street Journal, and Artforum. In 2011, he relocated to Miami, where he covered the burgeoning art scene for everyone from Ocean Drive to The Paris Review. He curates the occasional exhibition and currently lives in Memphis, where he is finishing his first book.
