Ana Laguna

(Panama City, Panama, 1999) is a cultural programmer and producer, independent curator, and certified art appraiser. She worked as a research assistant for the exhibition “Tudo o que eu quero” at the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon, as a curatorial assistant at Kunsthalle Lissabon and in the Public Programs team at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. She recently served as curator of special projects at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama, where she curated the exhibition “Cuidar, Sanar, Recordar, Resistir.” As an independent curator, she held the exhibition “Entrando en materia: una exposición de esculturas” and participated in the “Plantario Lab” of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador as a speaker. In addition, she has participated as an instructor in the “Método” program of the MAC Panama and for the Ingenia Fund workshop of the City of Knowledge. She is currently head of performing and exhibition spaces at the Ministerio de Cultura.
