A/W 14

No Space, Ciudad de México, México May 3, 2014 - May 10, 2014

2014.05.17
Reading time: 1 minute

A/W 14 is composed of nine works that include painting, installation, and sculptural elements, intending to explore the possibilities and limits of painting. Whereas Forte’s older work plied common and everyday objects to resize historical facets of painting, this exhibition marks a shifted gaze towards fashion, focusing on intimate and essential aspects of artistic production and painting itself. Here the three-dimensional objects play a pictorial role, and the paintings assume an ambiguous function between the manufactured and the manual, the digital and analog, the public and the private.
