Throughout this block we will approach matter as a viscous, porous and elusive concept: a word that does not get caught because it names an amalgam of phenomena in constant movement. To address this rebellious character of the material, we will resort to conceptual tools that will expand our possibility of naming. At the same time, these tools will allow us to understand our place in an ecology of knowledge, beings and worlds, thinking of ourselves as material instances in a process of constant transformation and intertwining with other instances. We will stand on a transdisciplinary field, which is nourished by the living arts, anthropology, sociology, feminist theories, political ecology and other fields of knowledge. We will also converse with some theoretical, aesthetic and political practices that affirmatively erase the apparently immovable border between nature and culture, subjects and objects, living things and dead things, thinking of such erasure as an act of resistance to the current planetary crises.
