Víctor Palacios Armendáriz

He studied History of Art at the Universidad Iberoamericana. Since 2012, he is the Head of Visual Arts of Casa del Lago Juan José Arreola of UNAM. In this institution he has participated in collaborative exhibitions such as: Los comedores de loto, Diógenes y los perros, Un ensayo sobre el ocio, Preludios de una reubicación I, Una rosa tiene forma de una rosa y Oficios e instintos. He did the Curatorial Program at De Appel Arts Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He has worked as a curator at the Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art and in Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros. He was the Chief Curator of the Carrillo Gil Art Museum and curator of the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City. He has been a subject teacher at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda” and has been a contributor to magazines such as Cain, Art Nexus, GasTV, Code, among others.
