Teresa Riccardi

Is the Artistic Director of MACBA, Buenos Aires. She is a professor and doctoral candidate of Art Studies at UBA and alumni of the Curatorial Intensive ICI (2013). Recipient of Conicet and ANPCyT grants. In 2005 she published along with the collective Duplus, the book “El pez, la bicicleta y la máquina de escribir” bringing together self-managed initiatives by artists in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is co-editor and co-founder of the magazine Blanco sobre Blanco and founder of AAS: Agencia de Asuntos (Sub)tropicales. She has curated the exhibitions Cromofobia (MACBA, Buenos Aires, 2014/2015), Ocupaciones Raras (Galeria Gabriela Mistral, Santiago de Chile, 2014), Escenográfica,(BSM, Buenos Aires Art Building, 2013), AA(Sub)tropicales, (EAC, Montevideo, Uruguay, 2012/2013).
