Lucía Hinojosa Gaxiola

She is an interdisciplinary writer and artist. She has exhibited and participated in sound, poetry, and film festivals in spaces such as Centro de la Imagen (Mexico City), Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros (Mexico City), Audiograft Festival of Sound Art (Oxford), Chalton Gallery (London), Grice Bench Gallery (Los Angeles), The Poetry Project (NYC), Anthology Film Archives (NYC), among others. Her critical texts and poems have appeared in publications such as GasTV, El Rizo Robado, The Brooklyn Rail, Dolce Stil Criollo, Bombay Gin, philoSOPHIA. She is the director of diSONARE, an editorial platform focused on experimentation. Recently, she co-founded RIZOMA, a series of performance workshops for women deprived of their liberty.
