PhD in Art History from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her academic work has specialized in the field of photographic history and research and contemporary art. She has lectured in Mexico, Argentina, and the United States and her work has been published in magazines such as Time Out México, Alquimia, Revista de Arte y Diseño, and La Palabra y El Hombre. For more than ten years she collaborated for the studio of the Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide and currently works as a curator of collections in the studio of the US-American artist Gary Baseman. As an art administrator, she has assisted in coordinating various exhibition and publishing projects for museums, galleries, photo collections, and art biennials in Mexico City, Rochester, New York, and Los Angeles, California, where she currently lives.
