Ana Torres Valle Pons

Writer, curator and educator with a background in art history. She has focused her research on the intersection between curatorial and pedagogical practices, developing projects in institutions such as Museo Tamayo, Centro Nacional de las Artes and Museo Jumex. She directed the learning platform of ESPAC developing the pedagogical curatorial program Ensayos para habitar juntxs and curated the project Presencia Lúcida for the same institution. She has been interested in the processes of dialogue, encounter and learning that can arise around artistic and cultural manifestations, as well as in investigating the politics of representation and the boundaries between aesthetics and prosaics. Her recent research focuses on exploring perceptual conventions, as well as the way we inhabit our bodies and territories.
