Paraíso is a new Latin American Art fair celebrated from October 15 – 18, 2026 at Ambika P3, parallel and in close proximity to Frieze London a week when London transforms into a global vernissage.
Paraíso is set to become a distinguished and intimate art fair, showcasing the most representative voices in contemporary Latin American art alongside remarkable works created by Latin American artists over the past century.
For its first edition, Paraíso is featuring 26 galleries, 2 site specific installations, a section dedicated to publications, works on paper and limited editions, and also the work of 7 artists displayed throughout Ambika P3.
The programme includes live performances, talks, workshops and a taste of Latin American culture including food, dance, and music. Additionally, we will be presenting special projects in Somers Town, on the other side of Regents Park, in collaboration with Somers Gallery and the British Library.
Each edition of the fair will be focused on a different country. The first edition will highlight
Mexico with a special programme to be announced soon.
OPEN CALL FOR GALLERIES
We are inviting galleries representing Latin American artists to apply for our first edition from 15 – 18 October, 2026. Galleries may choose to feature contemporary art projects and/or present art from the last one hundred years.
We seek to create new encounters and narratives fostered by gallery concepts rather than creating artificial sections.
Art proposals are primarily assessed based on their artistic merit, which encompasses the perceived quality, value, innovation, and potential impact of the proposed project. Admission decisions for Paraíso are made by the fair director, Javier Calderón, with additional support from curators, artists, and expert Latin American art advisors.
Deadline for Submissions: 31 May 2026.
