The Museum of Modern Art presents Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: Unfinished Garden, an exhibition that marks the artist's return to his native country, offering the public an immersive experience through sound, audiovisual, and light installations. From February 11 to April 25, starting at 7:00 p.m.
The project consists of nine large-scale installations in the Gamboa Room, the roundabout, and the garden of the venue. Designed to be viewed at night, the exhibition responds in real time to the heat, voice, pulse, and movements of the audience.
The artist's lines of aesthetic research, present in the nine pieces, propose a reconfiguration of technology to generate shared experiences: “Art as an excuse to create community is something we have to rescue. Creating experiences that invite them to talk to others.”
