Residencia Epecuén announces an open call for its new program, Hybrid Laboratory of Art and Thought, an in-person residency taking place from May 30 to June 7, 2026, on the shores of Lake Epecuén, Argentina.
Residencia Epecuén is a program of training, research, and artistic experimentation in the territory, organized by AAMM / Ambos Mundos Arte Actual, which has been running continuously since 2017. Throughout its various editions, more than 100 national and international artists have participated, consolidating a space of reference for contemporary art linked to the territory, memory, and specific contexts.
The residency offers an intensive workspace in a semi-rural environment that encourages dialogue among colleagues, collective exchange, and connection with the local community, based on direct experience in the territory.
The program includes three online sessions prior to the residency and two
follow-up sessions afterward, and will feature artist, researcher, and educator Eduardo Molinari as guest faculty. Open to artists from all disciplines interested in situated practices.
Apply before March 15th!
