The new edition of Salón ACME, a project presented by Base Proyectos, Archipiélago, and Proyectos Públicos, will celebrate its 13th edition from
February 5th to 8th, 2026, during Art Week. The event brings together six sections—Convocatoria, Bodega, Estado, Proyectos, Patio, and Sala—and will present the work of 82 selected artists chosen from 1,800 applications, with a total of 224 participants across all sections.
The invited state will be Puebla, curated by Nina Fiocco, who will present the exhibition Footprints, Voices, and Other Clues, featuring the work of 15 artists currently living and working in the state. The Patio section will feature invited artist Enrique López Llamas, presenting I Am the Resurrection and I Am the Life.
This edition will include 26 invited projects with the special support of the British Council, focused on promoting sustainability-driven initiatives. The Bodega section will present La Noche, an exhibition of works by seven artists based in Mexico, curated by CO,MA. Special interventions will also take place, including the illumination of the BBVA Tower by artist Julieta Gil in collaboration with Fomento Cultural BBVA México.
In addition, Salón ACME will host special guests from international institutions such as Gasworks (London), the Getty Research Institute (Los Angeles), and the KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin). The program will feature a diverse lineup of performances, music, gastronomy, workshops for children, a collaboration with Radio Nopal, and dedicated transportation connecting Salón ACME with other key fairs and events during Art Week in Mexico City.
