Sensitive and Vengeful (Sensibles y Vengativxs) by Florencia Rodríguez Giles is part of the result of the collaborative productions that are done in CAOS (Club of the Arts and Leisure) during the meetings and activities with healthcare workers, users of mental health institutions and neighbors of the city of La Plata.
The video was scripted by the artist in conjunction with current users of Melchor Romero Hospital and other users of the mental health system. Between ritual and dance, new codes and atypical narratives are created here that disarticulate what we perceive as normal in social behaviors and in the uses of body language.
The video demonstrates the again failed attempt to do a ritual that repairs the psychosocial damages and makes possible the creation of a new subjectivity capable of channeling desire in an exchange of knowledge and distinct experiences.
