The Green Goddess is a curatorial project that was first presented at lille3000, an art triennial based in Lille, France, as an exhibition that brought together the work of 30 artists, including Mexicans and Mexican residents. It soon became clear the importace to find a museum that could exhibits a second version that will include the productions made. The Museo de Arte de Zapopan (MAZ) held the second show of the exhibition entitled The Green Goddess Reloaded, which takes up the original theme of the one presented in Lille: to build a visual and plastic allegory of “nature” through works of art that critically appeal to this theme in its concept and realization.
Join us this Thursday, May 5 at 8 p.m. for the presentation of the catalog La diosa verde, Reloaded. We will have the participation of the curator of the project Dorothée Dupuis, the artist Isa Carrillo, the researcher Rodrigo Santoscoy, and the person in charge of the public program of the MAZ, Yair López.
