Announcing Carlos Motta's upcoming Club Terremoto's 2021-2022 edition

We are proud to announce our collaboration with prominent Colombian artist Carlos Motta in the framework of our next Club Terremoto 2021-2022 membership campaign

The special edition conceived by the New York-based visual artist will be unveiled in August 2021, and limited to only 15 pieces for new or returning members of Club Terremoto, our micro-patronage program. The edition is produced in collaboration with TAJO Taller.

There is a strong affinity between Terremoto’s values and Carlos Motta’s seminal role in political art practice within the Americas, as the artist has continuously engaged with issues of body politics and representation, sexual dissidence and the conflictive geopolitical history of our continent.

“I am happy to support Terremoto by making an edition for its annual fundraising efforts. Since its inception, Terremoto has elevated the critical discourses of Latin American art with insightful features and reviews of some of the most relevant artists and artworks of our time. Broad in scope but focused in intention, the magazine has contributed fresh and challenging content for a professional art audience. I always look forward to reading its issues and to learn about emerging and established art writers and their ideas.”
