Leiden Closes ‘Destino Tour’ in Mexico City
The renowned Cuban-Mexican singer-songwriter Leiden will celebrate a decade of her career with a musical performance that promises to be iconic and the largest one she has ever staged. Leiden announced the conclusion of her ‘Destino’ Tour at the iconic Teatro de la Ciudad ‘Esperanza Iris’.
After ten years of intense artistic activity, Leiden will close her tour with a show that is set to be her biggest yet. For this special occasion, she will be joined by 12 musicians, divided into three sections, to tell the story of her musical journey through a fusion of cutting-edge rhythms and poetry.
Leiden, considered one of the most important artists of the new Latin American song movement, will be joined by actress and singer-songwriter Astrid Haddad, the Obiní Batá Women’s Folkloric Company (Cuba), and Alan Sommer.
The concert will take place on December 5th at 8:00 PM at the Teatro de la Ciudad ‘Esperanza Iris’, with support from the Directorate of the Theater System of the Mexico City Secretariat of Culture.
Tickets for the concert are priced at $300 in the Luneta section and $250 for the First Floor, Amphitheater, and Gallery sections. Tickets are available at the theater box office and on Ticketmaster’s digital platforms.
