We are pleased to announce the third annual OPaf (Other Places art fair), March 14 and 15, 2020, at Battery Leary-Merriam, Angels Gate Cultural Center, San Pedro, California. OPaf features forty three art project spaces and artist projects from the United States and Mexico.
Fluid in definition, bonded by an intention to operate in other places, OPaf features participants presenting site-specific booths encapsulating their projects and programming.
Additionally, OPaf will include OPaBf (Other Places art Book fair), curated by The Fulcrum Press, and OPPPAFFF (Other Places Projects Performances and Fun Food Fair), organized by Asha Bukojemsky, and the awarding of the first annual OPaf Prize, a cash award for best booth*.
*In keeping with OPaf’s ethos of operating outside of the traditional Art World systems, the OPaf Prize will be selected randomly.
