In Salón Cosa we are not interested in dividing artistic objects by its categories or hierarchy. We are only interested in showing exceptional objects and creating a space for reflection around them. Salón Cosa is multi-faceted: experience and beauty, complexity and contradiction, high with low, business with pleasure, sense and shock, celebration and community-creation. The common thread of everything is things: collectible artistic objects of design, arts and crafts; unique pieces or limited-edition pieces full of meaning.
Salón Cosa is a gathering of contemporary objects: a temporary space for exhibition, collecting, discussion and socializing, all in one, on an intimate scale.
The second edition of Salón Cosa will take place in Guadalajara, from Wednesday, October 27 to Sunday, October 31, 2021, on the ninth floor of the recently inaugurated Bellwort Hotel, which occupies the emblematic Rosales Building, designed by the iconic modern architect Julio de la Peña Lomelín.
Salón Cosa Guadalajara will be an opportunity to discover and celebrate the most propositive and interesting creators of the local contemporary art, design, architecture and crafts scene. All participants in this edition will be from Jalisco or live and work in Guadalajara.
