The Latin American Art Auction by Morton Subastas will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 pm in the Salón Candiles of the Club Naval Norte, located at Fernando Alencastre 310 in the Lomas de Virreyes, Mexico City.
With almost ten years of experience, each semester this auction has positioned itself as the most important in the region and is sought after by specialized collectors and art enthusiasts; it is also the opportunity to discover works that have remained in private collections for years or decades and that perhaps we will not have the opportunity to admire, study and allow to be amazed in another context. This event also means provides an indicator of the current art market and an investment opportunity.
The auction includes works of art by great masters of Latin America, through them you can take a tour of Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Guatemala.
This auction will include pieces by important artists such as: Leonora Carrington, Aldo Chaparro, Ángel Zárraga, Vicente Rojo, Fernando García Ponce, José María Velasco, Luis Nishizawa, Manuel Felguérez, Claudio Bravo, Ignacio Iturria, Fernando de Szyszlo, Oswaldo Guayasamín, among others, which make up the catalog of 215 works.
