Murmuro is a project that generates ephemeral listening spaces dedicated to the different ways of hearing and relating to sound. We are a festival that collaborates with those who, from their practices, decide to experiment with sound and listening.

During two days at Vernacular institute we will have a program of live activities to abound in the subtle, expand our perception of sound and approach to listening from our corporealities.

On Friday night we will have Murmuro a cuatro cuartos, a polyphonic piece that takes place inside the rooms of Vernacular Institute and counts with the participation of Rossana Lara, Fang Luba, CNDSD (Malitzin Cortes), Valentina Díaz, Lucía R, Esteban Ferro and Sara Fernández, who from an interdisciplinary and translation work that included exercises with telepathy present a work in four parts in consonance.

On Saturday from noon, our program Dear Pauline, los gusanos también bailan will have a series of actions, performances and talks that will abound in the legacy of Pauline Oliveros and her work with deep listening. We will count with the participation of Ana Zambrano, Daniela Solís, and the sound ensemble Nuube (albania juárez, alina maldonado, andré cravioto, astrid runa, ciyi, fryda magaña, hackie, monserrat arias, nancy niño feo, loretta ratto, pamela herz, paulina grange, samantha canchola, sara fernández, sofia escamilla, thelma ascencio, vania alarcón) as well as a conversation with Rossana Lara about telepathy and the participants of Murmuro a cuatro cuartos.
