Because we want to continue increasing the diversity of students entering our Master and Doctorate in Arts UC, we are looking for artists and researchers of excellence, who want to develop innovative projects from the diverse Latin American territory.

We invite you to apply until October 15 to study at the Faculty of Arts of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which ranks first in Latin America and number 53 in Arts and Humanities worldwide, according to the QS World University Rankings 2022. [Participate in an informative meeting about scholarships and support to settle in Chile on Tuesday, September 14].

The UC Graduate Program in Arts offers multidisciplinary programs, unique in Latin America, whose academic curriculum is aimed at the development and innovation of knowledge in Visual Arts, Music and Theater, through the advanced training of people who put in dialogue and expand the horizon of cultures and the arts.

Whether from the path of creation or theoretical research (in the case of master’s degree) or the path of research or artistic practice as research-PaR (in the case of doctorate), students can carry out their projects with the guidance of outstanding academics and creators who can contribute to their development. Both programs are accredited by the National Accreditation Council in Chile.

Why study this program in Chile and at UC?

Scholarships: all students of the Doctorate in Arts UC currently have a scholarship to study the program. In the case of the Master in Arts UC, Chilean students and students of other nationalities are encouraged to apply for scholarships such as ANID, FONDART, FONMUS or other.

University excellence: multidisciplinary vision, experience that crosses practice and research in ideal conditions. Agreements and links with other institutions in Latin America and the world. Excellent library network, resources of all the campuses of the Pontificia Universidad Católica and the university network to develop your projects and live in Chile (Graduate School, support to settle in the country).

Check the work of our professors (Masters and PhD) and the projects carried out in the programs. If your lines of work are in dialogue, expand or cross these fields, we invite you to send your background to be part of our diverse community. If you have any questions about the 2022 admission process, we invite you to send them to Montserrat Rivera, Postgraduate Coordinator: montserrat.rivera@uc.cl.
