The exhibition establishes a procedure to show the works of the Carrillo Gil Collection that consists of accompanying them by texts and images that are attached to the walls, which suggest connections by similarity or difference, to rethink the works and serve as echoes and projections.

Abuso de las formas investigates the ways and procedures by which modern and contemporary art have appropriated manual knowledge, artisanal techniques, popular and pre-Hispanic iconographies to incorporate into their creations. The sample debates the fairness of these transfers.

Primera gran carrera caminando y texteando 2019 proposes to revalue the skills acquired by our interaction with mobile devices, equating it to an activity of sports competition. This project is the first of MACG Presenta: a space dedicated to artists up to 30 years old.
