Onda MX, the new app that helps you discover Mexico City’s art scene

Onda MX launches its mobile app to help locals and visitors discover and stay up-to-date with the diverse art scene in Mexico City. The app is free, bilingual, and available for both iOS and Android.
The app functions as a radar with interactive maps, a calendar of exhibitions and events, as well as a directory of spaces devoted to the exhibition and production of art.
This comprehensive and mobile tool provides you with a personalized experience, allowing you to bookmark spaces, events, and contents, plan your visits; as well as receive notifications and suggestions based on your interests. Onda MX gives you access to a permanent archive of projects, exhibitions, and events.
Along with its app, Onda MX launches a section with exclusive contents, published in both Spanish and English. This section boasts reviews, articles, and essays about exhibitions and works by artists based in Mexico City, as well as interviews with artists and curators. These editorial contents aim to enrich your visits, as well as to stimulate awareness and reflection.
The creation of the Onda MX app was made possible thanks to a crowdfunding campaign accomplished in Winter 2018. More than 30 Mexico City-based artists donated work. In addition, almost 200 backers supported the project and joined forces to make it a reality.
