The Artists Program is a space for artists, critics and curators interested in participating in an intensive experience of training, discussion and production in a university environment, which takes place at the Art Department of the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina. In 2022 we will offer a 100% online program, oriented to artists and curators from all over the world.
The Artwork Analysis Seminar will be coordinated by Carlos Huffmann and Mariana Tellería. In this space we will discuss the proposals of the participating curators, writers and artists.
In addition, two theoretical seminars will be offered in the first semester: Graciela Speranza will work on art theory and criticism, and Tomás Borovinsky will discuss the most outstanding authors and trends in global contemporary thought.
In the second semester six artist-writer-thinkers will reveal to the participants their personal interests and obsessions in a seminar. They will be Mariana Enríquez, Marie Bardet, Alfredo Aracil, Martín Legón, Ernesto Ballesteros and Martín Rodríguez. Throughout the year, Vanina Scolavino will be in charge of a workshop focused on experimentation around graphics and publications.
The artists will also attend technical/author workshops led by Mónica Girón, Flavia Da Rin and Max Gómez Canle. Likewise, the artists will have tutorials in small groups with Fabian Marcaccio, Irene Kopelman and Alejandra Seeber.
The group of curators and critics will take part in an annual curatorial practice workshop led by Carla Barbero.
