FAIN, Independent Art Fair, will celebrate its sophomore year in a new modality: a tour through 11 studios in Mexico City where you will be able to meet a total of 29 artists and their work.

It aims to encourage dialogue and involvement between the public and selected artists in a more intimate way, without mediators and with a limited number of people to prioritize everyone’s safety, health and comfort.

Visitors will be able to reserve their place to attend the tour of Centro, Condesa, Roma, San Miguel Chapultepec and San Rafael neighborhoods in Mexico City, where the selected artists will exhibit and sell their work at affordable prices –all will have at least one piece of less than 5 thousand pesos (240 USD) and none above 60 thousand (2900 USD)– to encourage the creation of new collections and provide attractive opportunities to established collectors.

At FAIN the artists are the stars of the show, not the galleries, therefore allowing a more direct approach, a personal and unique experience in which you can get to know the artists, their work and 11 local spaces for artistic creation, thus descentralizing the traditional scene in a more personal and safe way.

There are two types of tickets available: 1) $100 pesos (5 USD): includes 1 studio and Tequila 1800 courtesy; 2) $500 pesos (24 USD): includes 11 studios, a Tequila 1800 courtesy and 500 pesos (24 USD) credit to buy art.

This edition’s selected artists are: Carlos A. Mora, Fernanda Acosta, Karian Amaya, Christian Becerra, Álvaro Ferreira Navone, Santiago Gómez, Arjan Guerrero, Margot Kalach, Mariana Lagunas, Emilio Lameiras, Martín Levêque, Karla Leyva, Santiago Mora, Adriana Mosquera, Nicolás Oyuela, Fernando Polidura, Vera Primavera, Guadalupe Quesada, Vicente Quesada, Jessi Rap, Cy Rendón, Othiana Roffiel, Andrea Romero, Jorge Rosano Gamboa, Jimena Schlaepfer, Carmen Serratos Chavarría, Arantxa Solis, Edgar Solórzano and Fernando Zarur.
