For his first solo exhibition at the mexican gallery Parque Galería, Didier Fiuza Faustino invites us to take part in the architectural revolution that he starts in order to draw up a Sabotaje of the socio-political issues that seize our everyday life.

Occupy movements, the migration and european riots are some of the events that more and more frequently force the people to gather spontaneouly in public space. To meet the specific needs arising from this situation, Didier Faustino proposes to consider the borders as a possible architecture through three installations that, beyond the duality between citizens and security forces, allow the inversion of political pressures acting in public space.

Domestic Anarchy, is a wallpaper that turns the symbol of anarchy into a repeated pattern that could cover domestic interiors as well as walls into the street.

Builthfight is a transportable element that can be used as weapon by a single person or can be assembled, during riots, with other elements of the same type and can form a protective circle of steel as a barricade.

Democracia Portátil, takes the shape of an agora, a platform in semicircle made of steel that can be both autonomous and adaptable. The shape of the piece, designed for the transportation of a group of people at the back of a pick-up, refers to the aesthetics of military armored vehicles.

Occupy, protest, resist is a clear reference to protest signs; nevertheless the words outlined in neon portray some of the key concepts in a social movement: occupation, protest, resistance. Meanwhile, Exist is an intervention in the gallery’s private space.

As a wink to the earlier work of the artist, Future Will Be a Remake, is reactivated on the terrace of the gallery.
