In Relación abierta [Open relationship], his first solo show at Galería Isla Flotante, Valentín Demarco (Olavarría, 1986) presents a study about displacement. In this context, contemporary art appears as a territory from which a journey begins, halfway between weariness and melancholy.
The paradoxical intention of leaving art is the starting point for the exhibition, which reflects upon the construction of personal and collective imageries, as well as it depicts a concern about belonging and transcendency.
