Eternal Ephemeral by Moisés García Nava presents sculptural juxtapositions of physical perceptions of space from the optics of the human body. The body, understood as a drawing and a production space, is the result of an existential, metaphysical, individual and mystical unfolding of times, materialities and scales.

The sculptural constructions of Moisés García Nava activate displacements in forms of rotation and movement, their interest in radial narratives, build value systems where the material memory of a body is discovered by its absence. The sculptural installation causes the materials to inform the space, creating conversations where the media speak from their presence; wood, stone, glass, earth, metal, paper; elements that symbolize the experience of the habitual and the natural world. The performative body of the artist is inserted evoking gravity, both physical and symbolic. The sculptural gestures are connected in a game of scales between the human and the cosmic, where the distance and elasticity of revolving vortex’s collapse between voids and contents around the idea of transit and equivalence of the microcosmic, the human and the universal.
