After a period of almost seven years, the Chilean artist, Cristián Silva (1969) , returns to Mexico to present a solo exhibition at Curro & Poncho gallery.
Cargadores, equilibristas y suicidas brings together over 50 works on paper with different formats and techniques, in which people are depicted in conflictive situations, in either urban or rural settings, interacting with architecture or nature: loading weight and balancing on the brink.
Articulated as variations from the tragicomic figure of the Fool from the Tarot, this diverse set symbolizes the artistic practice in its three key moments, in the transitions from one state to another, or also within the simultaneity of the three.
