#64: Images as Notes of Desire for Something Different

Through this section, monthly, we invite agents of the artistic system to share a selection of images related to their practice or current interests. Images are published daily in the header of our website and shared through our Instagram profile. At the end of the month, the complete selection of images is published together with a text that contextualizes them. Here is the selection of October 2020.

One way to write with the body is for it to become the force and support of the materialized word. In the form of a poster, banner, mural, graffiti, blanket, flag, illustration, the words we choose to appeal to the world in decline are a double movement: a synthesis of rage that shakes the imagination and an urgent communication in search of affinities and complicities. What sensations do these words turned into an image that circulates in the maelstrom of the screen stimulate?

The images gathered here are a compilation of what my eyes saw while wandering through social networks throughout the month. All with a common axis: the body-word in protest. In a context of isolation due to the pandemic, I keep asking myself, what does it mean today to action from the body before a world that takes away our vitality?
