Visual artist, choreographer, and performer, Patfudyda trained at the Escola Livre de Artes da Maré (ELÃ) and EAV Parque Lage, and is the winner of the ImPulsTanz – Young Choreographers’ Award 2022. Within the Ballroom/Vogue culture, she was awarded the title of Prince of the House of Mamba Negra, which operates in São Paulo, Brasília, and Rio de Janeiro, with the mission of bringing manifestations of peripheral culture to institutional spaces.
Through interdisciplinary practices, her creations provoke intersections between the languages of dance, performance, and visual arts, incorporating elements such as mimesis, representation, and studies of images choreographed by dissident bodies. Driven by the challenge of addressing the tensions of the present, since 2018 she has presented her works in art galleries and at national and international festivals, including Tanya Bonakdar Gallery (NY), Festival Panorama, ArtRio, Lateral Roma, HOA ART, Artfizz, Galeria Jaqueline Martins, Les Urbaines (CH), SP-ARTE, Display (CZ), Itaú Cultural, SESC, Galeria A Gentil Carioca, Despina, among others.
