Rafaela Kennedy

RAFAELA KENNEDY believes in the power of memories, within the dispute field of social imagery, uses photography as a key tool for change and confrontation of structural violence. The artist denaturalizes the non- presence of transvestites and trans people, creating connections between body and nature, seeking to build in a sensitive way an ancestral archive of the now, valuing singular beauties within her portraits. Having faith that it is in the gaps that life in abundan- ce is built and that is where she establishes her works, her magic, emanating vibrations that cause approximation and recognition, at the same time that she breaks with the ethics and moralities rooted in Brazil.
