Rafael Paredes Salas

Public policies, local development, and cultural rights consultant. He has worked as a consultant for the municipal governments of Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara, and San Luis Potosí in Mexico. He has collaborated as professor-researcher for the cooperation program IberCultura Viva and FLACSO, as well as lecturer and trainer in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico. In the public service, he has been a collaborator of the Cultura Comunitaria program of the Government of Mexico and coordinator of the Acción Cultural Comunitaria program of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura. He is currently co-director of, a think tank oriented to the promotion and defense of cultural rights.
