Born 1983 in San Francisco, CA, Nico Colón’s practice spans painting, sculpture, sound and print making as well as collaborative interventions and curatorial projects. Through these varied gestures, he explores questions of authorship and display, creating playful encounters and negotiations that engage contemporary notions of circulation, consumption and the politics of technological development. He has exhibited through the U.S. and Europe, most recently with solo shows in New York and Milan. He currently lives and works in Mexico City.
