Lives and works in New York and Miami. In her work, Fisher explores the culture clash between nature and artifice through the lens of feminist theory and strategies derived from surrealist art. Since 2004, Fisher has directed the W.A.G.E.-certified 501c3 exhibition platform BFI (Bas Fisher Invitational).
