Margarita Itzagery Ponce Marin is a PhD candidate from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, currently
she works at the National School of Higher Studies of the Morelia Unit, UNAM. Her lines of research deal with cross-border social and artistic movements, Chicano art, border representations, and performance art. She did research residency at the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA, and California State University Bakersfield.
