Lucrecia Martel

Is an Argentinean film director. She directed the feature films Zama (2017), La mujer sin cabeza (2007), La niña santa (2004), and La Ciénaga (2001). She has received the NHK Award from Sundance Film Festival, the Grand Prix of the Latin American Film Festival of Toulouse, the Award for best film and best director of Havana Film Festival, the Alfred Bauer Prize of the International Jury in 2001 in The Berlin International Film Festival and a Golden Bear nomination at the same festival. Her second feature, La niña santa, was nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival.
